The Orient Research team consists of dedicated, expert and hand-picked Technical Directors and Consultants. The entire team has over 55 years of practical experience in architectural and engineering design, project and construction management.

Our Staff
Orient Research’s dedicated senior team of technical directors and consultants have over 55 years of practical experience in architectural and engineering design and project and construction management.
Orient Research engineers and architects are highly qualified and have extensive theoretical and practical experience in the design and construction of structures in accordance with American, British, European [Union] and Turkish Codes of Practice. Many of our staff have completed postgraduate degrees. We employ professionally qualified personnel including Certified Civil and Structural Engineers, Certified Architects, Certified Quantity Surveyors and Doctors of Engineering. Due to the international nature of our consultancy services, all of our senior staff are fluent in English. Other languages spoken include Turkish, German, Japanese, French, Serbo-Croatian, Arabic, Persian, Russian, Malay and Chinese.
Our staff’s experience includes all aspects of the design and management of architectural, civil and structural engineering, mechanical and electrical engineering, environmental engineering and sustainable engineering projects. We carry out projects from feasibility to completion and delivery to our clients. No project is too small or too large and is treated with equal importance. We have the experience to deliver them successfully.
Orient Research engineers and technicians are also highly skilled and experienced in performing destructive and non-destructive testing, which is an important part of our research work on the durability of existing structures.
Our AutoCAD technicians are skilled in the use of REVIT, the Building Information Modeling software, for architectural, structural and Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing drawing work. They are also trained in the use of other 3D modeling and rendering software.
Our Community
Orient Research employees are encouraged to participate in community work, either as individuals, in non-governmental organizations (NGOs) or through the company itself. This includes promoting educational, social, infrastructure, art, engineering and environmental projects. Orient Research believes in improving understanding between our architects and engineers and the community.
Every year, we allocate a portion of our resources and budget to volunteer services to the community. We help organizations that need our services but do not have the financial means to provide them. Our efforts are also directed to projects that help the physically and socially disadvantaged. We are also actively involved in promoting engineering challenges with university students.

Seminars and lectures by external speakers are regularly held in our offices for all our staff and cover a wide range of architectural and engineering interests. During the COVID19 pandemic, meetings were limited to virtual participation.
We also positively encourage all our staff to always improve themselves in their free time and not to be satisfied with what they have achieved and know. They have the capacity to explore the boundaries of knowledge by taking the time to read more technical journals and industry news, get an additional degree, get certified by relevant professional institutions, organize on-site visits to challenging projects and do anything they are interested in that will broaden their depth of knowledge. Health and Safety in the Workplace
Our work is to create a better world and in the process of achieving this, some stages of the work carried out for the realization of the project can be dangerous if not taken into account in the design and construction process. We instill in our staff the idea of designing constructable structures and incorporating safety into the design.
However, we must also provide safe work areas for all staff. This assessment also includes all our visitors. During this 2020 pandemic, our health and safety measures have proven to work extremely well. Of course, we do not stop there. We are always updating our knowledge of the latest developments in health and safety and will implement them immediately where useful.
Quality Assurance
Our company conducts all business processes in accordance with the ISO 9001 Quality Management System due to our commitment to the quality of all our services. All design processes follow predefined procedures that have been tried and tested by our management team and are updated when necessary to reflect new challenges posed by the construction industry.
We have also developed a Quality Management System specifically for our site management services in accordance with ISO 9001. This is in addition to the Quality Control system that would be in place for any construction job. Our quality assurance procedures can help prevent delays, failed work, serious injuries on site and additional costs.
Orient Research's Quality Management System is certified in accordance with ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001.
