Quantity Surveying, Contract Documentation and Cost Control
Our team has been doing all the measurements, preparation of Bills of Quantities (BoQ) and cost estimation for all the design work that we have undertaken. This is borne out of necessity as there is not such a profession as Quantity Surveyor in the region where our projects are. All the work of quantity surveying and cost estimations are done by architects and engineers of all discipline. Most recently, we have established a team within our company to support the preparation of Bill of Quantities for our projects and to support other firms whose need is just for assistance with quantity surveying.
Depending on the location of the work, we have been able to produce the BoQ that is suitable for our client’s use. When international standards of measurement are required, we have used the Standard Methods of Measurement (SMM) and Principle of Measurement International (POMI).
