Civil Infrastructure
Although each development may differ in the ultimate function, character, and use but their civil infrastructure needs will be similar. We have been tasked with the design of various projects in Greenfield and Brownfield sites.
Some of the Greenfield projects are totally self-sufficient and located in the middle of nowhere. In addition to the design, our teams have extensive experience managing the civil projects often in conjunction with the other disciplines and where there is limited knowledge of construction skills and materials. The scope of services has included earthworks, roads, drainage, river training, defence and security perimeter, prefabricated accommodation and support facilities, water extraction and purification, wastewater, power generation, planning and supervision of construction and others.
In the case of Brownfield sites, surveys were meticulously carried out to define what is underground and above ground services are available and how they could be suitably incorporated into the project, diverted away from the development, terminated or a mixture of design solutions. It is also always necessary to contact all the responsible authorities which may have an interest in the vicinity of the project.
